I was in a 5 year relationship, it finished 5 years ago and I've not been able to see anyone seriously since. I wasn't ready before, but I am now. I met someone, someone I wouldn't normally be interested in but he was a real gent. I was confident, but not over confident, we got on great and he spent a lot of time texting me. I took it in my stride and allowed him to show his interest, giving some away but not too much. Then I went away on holiday and when I got back I text him and didn't hear anything back. When I text asking for an explanation I was told it was turning into a relationship too quickly. But as far as I'm concerned I was following his lead. I didn't do anything wrong, wasn't pushy or needy etc. This is the most interest I've had off anyone since, I don't understand why this happened, I feel like whatever I do I doomed to be alone. I know this sounds dramatic, and I know I'm only young (24) but I don't know what the problem is?

Hmmmmm... u trying to find the true love its hard to find it but you have to try and the person who dosen't want you just leave him alone because there is a day that he will be back to and he is sooooo sorry of what he done believe me and there is a day that is on you but the next day is for you and you and only you believe me

Hey you tried and it didn't work so don't take it personally, its probably just him any way. The best skill to have right now is how you deal with rejection. And as any fellow will tell you who has been rejected, you don't take it personally, you move on to other options and opportunities.

I think you handled your end right, he was the one who couldn't handle his end. So don't trip on this one at all. Just look at other options, and opportunities.
