    Shadylane's story is exactly what is happening to me. I would like an update Shadylane. Are you still being harassed or how did it finally end?

    Would like to be updated on Shadylane's question, nah. If you can, can you include a link for her post. I might be able to enlighten you if you are referring to a student loan through the government.

    I have defaulted on my canada student loan from approx 8-10 yrs ago. I just recently started getting calls from a collection agency. I had been told 8-10 yrs ago that the loans were written off by the bank. Can they only harrass at this point?
