My ex wife wants husband to adopt our children, she is stalling on getting the paperwork to me to sign as she does not want me to know her new husbands name, is there anything I can do. Before you say anything they live at the other end of the country, she left me to live with another guy and in the 6 years she has been gone she has tried everything in the book to stop me seeing the children, now she is claiming I have mentally physically and emotionally abused the children. I have spoken to a lawyer and he told me it is going to cost me thousands of dollars to fight her in court. She has not, as far as I am aware, reported me to the authorities for any of this, she is just trying to push me to sign my rights over and is holding this over my head. By the way I have done none of the things she has said, but now I am worried if she pursues this I am going to lose my new wife and infant daughter in the process. I love all my children, but due to this latest claim I feel it best to sign my rights over and let her new husband adopt them. There is so much more I could say, but it is best not to.

This sounds really messed up, geordielass. Is she in sound mind ? It doesn't appear so if she wants you to sign papers for her spouse to adopt, but doesn't want you to know his last name. She must divulge that sooner or later if she wants this to happen.

You can say anything you want here. You are completely anonimous to us and anyone else, unless you use this screen name in other places.

Well properly you fight her for visits, and should have fought her before she was allowed to move.

I do not want to talk badly of her other than what I have said, I just want to know what I should do next, I really have tried everything. I see the kids tortured every time I try to see them, it breaks my heart.
