Is it OK for my boyfriend to sleep in the same bed with his 15 yr old ex step daughte
My boyfriend is still very close to his ex wife's daughter from a former marriage. He sees her on the weekends. When she stays at his house she sleeps in his bed. When I have my son my boyfriend and stay the night together all the time. It is great! When he has his step daughter I can not stay the night. I have only met her 1 time. She seems very jealous of our relationship. Seems odd. Or am I being to jealous?

They shouldn't be sharing the same bed at that age. Its inappropriate behavior.

Does he only have one room in the house? Can he not make a spare bedroom or get a pullout lounge?

Even with one room. There is always the floor and a sleeping bag. Also air beds are pretty cheap and when your done with it you can tuck it back in the bag for easy storage. There is no reason to share a bed with a 15 y/o. It would be grounds for a custody change.

It's sick to think that a grown man would sleep with a child.
They are both old enough to know better. Tell him how you feel.

Does the mother know? I mean if she has her own room then there is no reason for her to be sleeping there!

Tell him to stop it! If he doesn't like it tough. Have you talked to the stepdaughter. Talk to the mother.

Never had a chance. Met the daughter 1 time. The mother is out of the question. I have talked to him but he gets defensive. I do not think anything is going on but then again who knows? She is already sexually active.

And yes the mother knows. That is where I am confused. If the mom is OK with it, why should I worry. Her mom would never put in her daughter in harm.

If nothing is going on why is he so defensive. He may be thinking about it. A fifteen year old sexually active girl who is sleeping with her step father.. Tell him to knock it off and now.

Yes. He said it is no big deal and she does not her bed. My answer was buy a new one! I am going to give him one week to fix it. Get her a new bed, have her sleep in it and stay there!! Or I am out. Not worth the risk.

They shouldn't be sleeping in the same bed, something is definitely wrong with that picture. You should be the only one sleeping in bed with him.

I think it goes beyond inappropriate. For any male over 18 to sleep with a 15 yr old girl is out of line, but the stepfather sleeping with her is a red flag that his behavior is suffering.
I would question what he does that he doesn't admit if he talks about this.
It would put the entire relationship in question if this ia an example of what he deems OK.
