I don't understand what happened - normally the car is "repoed," you pay what you owe, the car comes back to you. Are you saying you had to refinance the car?
No, she has no claim to it BUT you cannot sell it until she is paid IF she's on the title.

Please don't type in caps - it's the same as shouting at me.
No, the co-signer cannot take your car unless she is on the title. It appears she's on the note - ?
Is she on the title?

Please do not post same question more than once. I have merged your questions.
Please explain, your car was repo'ed which means someone took it, correct. So you had to pay that loan off to get it back, correct ?
So to pay it off you went and got a new loan, that you had someone else co sign for ?
Now I will assume you are no longer paying again and the co signer wants to take the car ?
Is that a fair summary of events ?
They can not just take the car, but they can sue you for the money and get the car after they take you to court most likely.
Of course lets look at this from a moral side if this is correct, if you got someone to co sign for you, to get your car back and you again are not paying, and they are having to now pay, you should just give them the car till you can start paying, that is only the right thing to do, to save them the cost of layers and the such

So why would they say you are late if you are not ? And why are they telling her. They should only be contacting be contacting her if you are late. So are you making paying but the payments go in a few days late each month ? Did you get behind at all ?
But you merely show her the reciepts where you paid on time and the copy of the statements for your bills proving they are not late.
