    Muslims attending non islamic functions
    I am invited to attend Holy ,Diwali, Haldi kumkum etc and am wondering if its right for me to attend all this and I do not take their prasad I just show my presence.

    Assalamu alaikum,

    It is not permissible to attend non-Muslims religious festivals and to eat foods made for that particular occasion.
