    Radio played by its self
Okay so I have an old pink radio in my closet that I had gotten from my grandma I am not to sure how old it is. But it has a casset player so its definitely not new. Any how I have not used it for a full year the batteries in it are dead and it was not plugged in!! The one night me and my husband were getting ready to go out, I was looking in the closet for a sweater and I could hear the faint sound of a radio playing. I pushed the sweaters out of my way to see where it was coming from. I called justin over to whitness what I had seen just to prove to him that weird things happen just to me. Any how he picked it up and it immeadianly shut off, even when he put it back in the same spot it wouldn't turn on as it had moments before... the next day just out of curiosity I plugged it in to see if some how it may have picked up a signal although I thought it was impossibe seems how the batteries were dead. After I plugged it in, there was no signal for a station so I have no idea how it could have worked in the first place..

Does this sound like a haunting to any one?

    Thanks

Unusual , but not a haunting in my opinion.

Any electronic device is subject to many things that can cause them to act strangely.

A possibility in your case is static electricity generated by you moving clothing could have caused the batteries to collect enough charge for a few seconds of power.

Someone in your area with a ham radio, or a c b with an amplifier to boost their signal could have somehow been picked up.

The battery could have loose and you caused enough vibration to make it connect and use the last bit of power it had.

These are all long shots at best, and cover only the tip of the iceberg of possibilities, but I still think them more likely than a haunting.
