ASSAALAAMOALIKUM. Sir I want to ask tha I have a shia friend and I was discussing about are religion when he told me that wee offer only 3 prayers because there is no place in Quran where there is given to pray 5 times. Can you please tell me some surahs indicating this matter? I will be vey thankful to you,

Walaikum Salam,

If it is so, can he show you where it is written in the holly Quraan that praying three times a day for Muslims is enough? No, he will not be able to show that. Remember, things those are not explained clearly in the holly Quraan is well explained in sahi hadeeth . We all know Mohammed (PBUH) used to pray five times a day (which is found in several hadeeth) and he never did or said anything which is not permissible in Islam.

"Establish regular prayers - at the sun's decline till the darkness of the night, and the recital of the Qurán in the morning prayer: for the recital of the dawn is witnessed." (Sura Al-Isrá, ayah # 78)
From dawn to duskis what this ayah states which reminds us of the plentiful number of prayers that Allah forts asked for: 40 prayers a day!
So if five is not enough for friends try 40 prayers

His answer is an evidence of his disobedience to Allaah, and trying to lead you astray. Don`t take the people of hawaa as your friends.
Allaah has ordered in numerous places in The Quran to follow Rasuul, obey Rasuul, listen to Rasuul, take what Rasuul gives us -sAaws. The fact that they abandon Sunnah is establishing Quran as an evidence against them.
Stay away from them.
Imam Ahmad told that from the Sunnah with us is that we abandon all bid`ah and hawaa, and there is no interpretations in the Sunnah that people are supposed to create meanings by their intellectual reasoning, but it is following, and abandoning desires. Also there is no evidence in The Quran that shi`as are muslims.

Tell him "May Allaah curse those who curse Abu Bakr, Omar, and `Aaishah", and see if his face turns red because he just received the curse of Allaah -The Mighty and Majestic.

And that`s not even the worst of what they do. They say that in order to fulfill la ilaha illa Allaah you have to negate all of Allaahs attributes! SubHaan Allaah. So no wonder they take Khomeini as their god claiming that he has even power over atoms, when they have negated even that Allaah knows anything whatsoever (Because He cannot be compared to creation, but creation has attributes). And may Allaah destroy them, they even claim that Ali Ibn Abi Taalib -ra`a- has taught this. They are going to The Fire. Don`t go with them. And love for Allaah, and hate for Allaah. Don`t love the enemies of Allaah who say they are muslims and smile to you and call you to Hell-Fire trying to produce evidence for it from Kitaabullaah. May Allaah destroy them and what they have innovated. You are not allowed in Islam to be friends of the enemies of Allaah.

If you go to him to tell him these things or ask him, he will just make taqiyah (hide his reality and lie), because according to their scholars it`s a prerequisite of their deen to pretend. I`m so sad for you I`m crying brother/sister please save yourself and go far from them.
