I have a question about my gas furnace.
My furnace has an electronic ignitor. When I first turn on the furnace, the electronic ignitor lights the pilot and I can see the flames. I have the furnace set on auto and once the heat reaches desired temperature the furnace shuts off. However, I can still hear the motor going but the furnace will not kick back on. I will then have to shut off the power to the furnace until the motor stops completely and then after a few minutes I turn it back on. The furnace will kick back on and start heating again. In order to keep it running longer I have had to set my thermostat at 82 degrees. Why won't it kick back on automatically?
