I have known my then friend now boyfriend for about two years now. Even though we both had other relationships during that time he always told me he wanted to be with me. I always said no because there was always someone else in the picture but decided to yes to this perfect guy but I can't seem to fall in love with him. Please help what do I do or what should I think.

Falling in love is not a decision you make, it's an emotion that comes naturally. He might be perfect for someone, but not for you. If he is in love with you, then you need to cut him loose. You can't force yourself to love him so be fair to this super great guy, and allow him to get involved with someone else, someone that doesn't have to talk her self into loving him.

Sometimes these things happen. He may be "the perfect guy" just not for you.

I do think that you need to be honest with him. Hopefuly you two can remain good friends, because he sounds like a nice person to have as a friend.

If your not in love and you do not think it will work. You know what you need to do. Stop leading him on like you like him and break up with him.
