Puppies at increased risk for parvo if mom had it prior to them being conceived?
My female dog had parvo and was cured through the vet. After coming back home, my other dog who had just been neutered impregnated the female dog. Is there a risk to the puppies of having parvo because the mom had it a couple of weeks before they were conceived? The female dog will be giving birth to the puppies on a different property then where she had parvo and the puppies will be adopted out from that location.

Was your females pregnant when she got Parvo, and how long since she had parvo until she got pregnant?
They aren't a higher risk per say but they are at a higher risk of developing something called Cardiac Parvo. Which is by far the most deadliest form of parvo. It is VERY important to get all pups vaccinated ASAP, as the parvo virus lives in the ground and surrounding area for a very long time, some even speculate it can live in soil for up to 5 years.
Make sure all bedding, toys clothes have been replaced, make sure urine and feces spots have been thoroughly cleaned in the house and yard. Bleach is the best product to use when killing the Parvo virus.

Anyway, assuming your dog was 100% cured generally it should be okay, but cardiac parvo can be transmitted from mom to pups so there is a slight chance. Just ensure the pups are vaccinated.

Yes, apparently it takes a while after neutering to "neutralize" everything if you know what I mean... The female went into heat two weeks after the male was neutered and he got his last hurrah
