    My period came on September 25 and I had intercourse on 10/1/2010 will I get pregnant
    I came on my period September 25 it stayed on for 4 days and I had intercourse on 10/2/2010. What are the chances that I get pregnant?

    It's my understanding that if you count day 1 as the first day of menstrual bleeding. (Your period STARTS approximately 11 to 14 days AFTER an egg is produced.) If your cycle is usually 28 days, then the egg is produced around day 14 - again, the start of your period is day 1. Sperm lives in your vagina or the uterus for about 2 days, making your MOST fertile time from day 11 (give or take a day) to day 16.

    You are least likely to get pregnant on days 1 to 7, again, counting from the day you start your period.

    You had intercourse on the 8th day of your cycle.

    Nothing, of course, is guaranteed.

    As JudyKayTee said, it is possible... no guarantee. Even with good timing your odds are about 20% in any given cycle.
