How do I wire a hampton bay fan switch
I am trying to replace a switch on a hampton bay fan. The original switch is a 4-wire,

    Black
    Purple
    Yellow
    Orange

I know black goes to line. I tried wireing the new switch the same way as the old. The fan works but it stays on one speed for 3 chain pulls and then shuts off. Not sure if I am missing something.
