    Is the MSDA the same for both wires

    Sublabor,

    Please do not re-open a post that is almost three years old. Start a new thread. Most of us now ignore old threads.

    As to your question, think about it. If you were looking at single listed wires, then no they are chemically different.

    For example, the "HH" tells the electrician that the cable is suited for use in a "High Heat" environment. With respect to the temperature generated to from the current running through the wire or the ambient temperature surrounding the wire (90c).

    A single "H" indicates that it is only rated for up to 75c.

    Obviously, the chemical properties are different from each other so therefore the MSDA would be different between the wires.

    However a double listed wire (THHN/THWN) the MSDA would be the same.

    You need to contact the manufacturer of the wire you have, or plan to use, and request the MSDS sheet for the actual insulation they manufacture.

    For example, here is one from Encore Wire:
