Why would there be a tube from under the floor going into the tank of my toilet?
Our home has a wood foundation... no basement... there is a thin platic tube coming from beneath the floor into the tank of my toilet. It doesn't seen to have any purpose. What could this be for?

Wondering how much does it cost to get the 12' water supply tube and it`s valve to get replaced. My toilet leaked and the cause was a leaky supply tube and now the water kept going down in the neighbor`s bathroom which resulted in making his ceiling fall out.It needs to be fixed asap. Help.
My toilet has been leaking where the supply tube connects to the tank for a while now, and recently its getting worse and worse. I tried tightening and loosening it, but neither seems to fix the problem. I finally just bought a new connector hose, but I can't see how to disconnect the old hose...
My toilet water is simply trickling out of the top of the valve, down the arm, rather than going through the fill tube. I tried putting a hanger into the hole leading to the fill tube, to see if anything was blocking. What could be the problem and how do I fix it? Thank you.
