Blower wheel appears out of round , and not balanced
Central Air HVAC system: Installed a new blower wheel and motor into the blower housing assembly. The problem is that the blower wheel appears out of round when hand spinning the blower wheel and viewed from the upper and lower part of the housing assembly. The shaft on the motor is snug and tight. The motor is secured by 4 bolts to the blower housing assembly. The set screw holding the hub to the motor shaft is also secured and tight, and there is no looseness in the motor shaft. This uneven/wobbly rotation is still there. Turned on the system, and there was noise and vibration coming from the blower wheel housing assembly. I am not running the system until I find out why the blower wheel does not have an even rotation. Is this blower wheel supposed to be checked and balanced at the factory? The dimensions of the blowere wheel are: 12" in diameter, by 12" in length, the same size as the original blower wheel. The new motor is also the same specs as the original one. The mfr. Of this HVAC is Bryant Air conditioning and Cooling.
