Second job on an E-3 visa
    Hi,

I read on another post that it's possible to have a second job on the E-3 visa if a second petition is filed for you. (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/immigr...wed-74482.html)

What I wanted to know was, does the second job have the same requirements as the first, i.e.. Skilled at a Bachelor's degree level? I work in corporate communications but am also an actor, which I don't think will be classed as skilled.

Also, I read that the jobs needs to be permanent, either part-time or full-time. What exactly does that mean? If it's only a three month, part-time contract, would that be allowed?

    Thanks very much!

Yes, second position has the same requirements as it is the same visa classification. It will need to be a professional position requiring a degree.

Please check your source for the position requirement, it must be temporary, not permanent, as the E-3 is a nonimmigrant (temporary) visa.

Part-time or project-based E-3 employment is allowed. Good luck, I hope this was helpful.
