[Uncle Fester]

I started Kindergarten in fall of 1965; before then, I'd wait up 'till my mom got home from work, often quite late (midnight). I recall seeing some B&W comedy several times, andhave since spent 30+ years trying to find its title. I'd ask anyone who appeared to be a movie buff, even total stranger. I got plenty of answers, but none of them right.

Here's what I remember:

The end has some madcap chase scene, with the hero & heroine trying to escape, of all things, a power saw. It chased them throughout a building, cutting through every obstruction they could come up with. Finally, it cornered them isn't some room, and slowly cut a large circle arounf the two, whereupon they fell through the floor and landed in a swimming pool, tank or some other very large container of water.

Any clues?
