    How to clean up water?
My washer backed up and caused water to flood out causing it to leak along the base boards of the wall and out to some of the carpet. Wondering how can I get the water up and make sure no mold damage?

There are flood damage folks who can do the job like ServiceMaster. Carpet needs to come up and be dried with a blower "floating" the carpet off the floor for a few days. Remove baseboards and dry outside in the sun. Wipe with a solution of 3 parts water and 1 part bleach. Dry outside in the sun. The drywall and studs may be damp, no easy fix if you get mold in here. Cut out drywall 6" up from the floor. Remove and replace insulation and treat the studs with the same solution.
