You will have to give it more time. At least a few days to see if you start your period.

All the symptoms you describe, could be just period related.

I hope you do start your period, and at the same time, get to a Doctor for birth control pills, so you don't risk this scare again.

Yes you could still be Pregnant, if your period doesn't come then wait 2 weeks then take another test. If it still comes out negative then your just late and need to stop stressing about it because that can effect you menstrual period too.

Actually you're wrong.

If the test is negative even after two weeks late, pregnancy is still possible, it's not a given that she's not pregnant at that point.

Many women don't get a reliable reading on a pregnancy test until they're in their second trimester (over 3 months along).

I do agree that she should test two weeks after a missed period, and she should use first morning urine (which you didn't mention), but, if the test is negative she should wait until her next period is due and test again if she misses it, or get a blood test done.

Edit: I find it a bit odd that you're answering pregnancy questions when you posted a very basic pregnancy question (one that the majority of sexually active people know) yourself. Doesn't sound like you have much expertise on this subject, and that's based on your question, and on what you posted here.

Best to stick to questions where you know what you're talking about.
