Kitchen Sink Odor
We just had a new stainless steel sink installed as part of our kitchen remodel. It was manufactured in China. There is a very strong chemical type odor coming out of the cabiet below the sink. There are no leaks and nothing obvious that would be causing the odor. We thought that it had something to do with the epoxy used to install the sink to the granite but it has been 7 weeks now and the odor is not dissipating. It seems to be coming from the bottom of the sink itself. There is a dark gray coating on the sink for soundproofing and I wonder if it could have something to do with that. Any input would be appreciated.
