    Replacing Inground pool coping
I have a 20x40 inground vinyl liner pool, with a paver deck. I have owned the home and pool for 2 years, and there are a couple of problems.

The pavers have shifted considerably since their installation, due to incorrect setting (they are dry set). I would like to keep the pavers and have them reset. However, I have aluminum coping that comes up over the top of the pavers like a big flange all around the pool. I would like it replaced as it seems like stubbed toes and slipping are an issue with the kids, and furthermore we had part of the liner pull out of over the winter last year and was told that over time, this kind of coping wears out and you rely on linerlock to keep the liner up in it.

All of this seems reasonable and if I paying to reset the pavers, this would be a good time to replace the coping, as it would probably have to change the deck height. Is there any reason I can't do this- coping swap, and Is there any advantage to changing the pool liner at this point as well? The liner is best guess 7-8 yrs.

    Thanks!
