Should my a/c condenser unit be level?
I have a newly instaled 5 ton A/C condenser at the original location of the old unit. The concrete slab it sets on is very big so the technician has fabricated four (4) metal legs to support it off the slab by an inches or so. I put a level on the unit and it is level in one direction, but not at 90 degrees to the other direction. The level is off by about a 1/2 inch in two (2) feet. Doesn't the unit need to be level to attain a full life time of service for this condenser unit?
