What is needed for parents to adopt grandson?
Father is in the Army, enlisted as a single. Mother does not have a place to take care of child, (she lives with mother in a section 8 house and she is not listed as a occupant with Section 8. She just leaves when she knows there will be an inspection) has no means of income, and we were called to come get the child one night because her mothers social worker said mother was not taking care of child. The baby, Aidan, has been living with us for almost 4 months now and no progress made from the mother in the direction of finding work or finding a place to care for the child.

The best answer we can give you is to consult an attorney. Adoptions need to be handled appropriately and trying to take this on pro se is probably not going to work in your favor.

Is the single father paying child support to mother of child ?

Being poor and living on section 8 is not a reason to have to give up child.

Is the mother willing to sign over rights to allow adoption ?
