    Microwave glass replacement
What type of glass is used in microwave doors? And it safe to simply replace the glass, rather than replace the whole door for approximately $200 on a microwave worth less than that? What is the technology behind stopping micro waves?

There is special "webbing" embedded in the glass door. Best thing to do would be to buy a new microwave oven.
