OK so I have grown a lot this summer. A few months ago I was about 5'3, but now I am about 5'5. The doctor did some kind of program where he gets my parents' heights and gives an estimate of how tall I will be and the result was 5'10. My mom is 5'4 and my dad is 6'0. Now I drink my milk, eat my veggies, and exercise, but is this enough to go past the 5'10 mark? Also will I finish growing by the end of this year or is it normal to continue growing throughout the rest of high school? I am a sophomore right now.

You will probably continue to grow for as many as six more years. The scientific explanation -- when cartilage growth in the long bones stops, usually in the early 20s, the epiphyseal plate completely ossifies so that only a thin epiphyseal line remains and the bones can no longer grow in length.
