Salam... Islam allowed men to marry more than one women to help women. The first woman (Hawa) was created by Allah from one of Adam's left rib cage. This indicates that this is our responsibility to support n defence women as they are weaker than us. Although men allowed to marry more than one women but actually there are many conditions to be fulfilled first. Some are
- must be good muslim so that the husband can help his wife to be good muslimah.
- must be rich so that can support all the wives.
- must be able to be fair to all the wives.
- must be able to guide all his child's, wives and ownself to the right path and must ensure that able to make all his family happy.
-etc.
Unfortunately most men nowadays married more than one women just to fulfill their sex (nafs-syahwat). It is their own sins towards Allah if they can't fulfill the rules but married more than 1. Lastly, the wives will be unhappy and this shows that the husband is actually not follow the rules of Islamic teaching kindly.
THE MAIN REASON MUSLIM CAN MARRIED MORE THAN ONE WOMEN IS TO HELP AND DEFENCE THEM SINCERELY AS WOMEN IS GIFT FOR US AND THE WORLD. BUT REMEMBER, THEY MUST ACTUALLY FULFILL THE ISLAMIC RULES TO MARRY MORE THAN ONE WOMEN. Thanks..
