    I want to hook up a square d single phase two wire stater, other than the L1,L2, T1,
    I am trying to hook a square d starter (1ph-2w 240v) and it says to add a wire from L2 to the coil
    And common. Could you explain please?

    What is the starter for?
    How are you starting and stopping it?

    Control circuits for motor starters are not something for the inexperienced.
