    Will my hair turn purple if I color it auburn, when I already have blonde highlights.

    Would you be doing this yourself or going to a salon?

    If I were you, I would do a test strand to make sure. There is always that possablity that it could pull more purple.

My girlfriend had her (originally) brown hair changed to blonde by a stylist. She does this on a regular basis so she was just trying to have the roots and overall color updated. 3 days later after a shower and blowdry purple streaks appeared. Any thoughts?
