    Stuck in a life rut
    Said farewell to my family 2 years ago and moved abroad,now feeling isolated ,trapped,sad,depressed. Partner happy don't want to hurt him, help, suggestions please.

    Maybe you don't know how to build a life that you enjoy, with your own friends, and activities, that make you happy.

    If you do that, you won't feel so isolated, because you would have things to look forward to.

    Start with a hobby outside the home, and work place. You do work don't you?

    What are my choices?
    What can I do right now to be happy?
    If everything was the way I think I want it would I then be happy long term?
    Are you often unhappy?
    Is unhappiness a pattern for you?
