    An airplane flies 136 mi/hr with respect to the air. On this day, the air is moving at 47 mi/hr due north with respect to the ground. What would be the velocity of the plane with respect to the ground,vpg, if the plane were pointed in each of the following directions?

    (Note: The angle q is measured EAST OF NORTH. For example, North corresponds to an angle of 0°, and East corresponds to an angle of 90°.)

    Pointed 45 ° east of north:

    |vpg| = ?

    q = ? °
