    Hello again, a:

    I WANT to help, but if you read the book, you'd KNOW that after WWII, the Soviet Union brought down the Iron Curtain across Eastern Europe. People escaped it by fleeing to Europe - NOT the Soviet Union.

    Plus, the German people supported the war effort until the end.

    It's just the opposite of what you thought, so how can I believe you read the text? If you DID read it, you got the wrong information from it. I think you should read it again. Then report back.
