    Do I have to report foreign owned property in a us bankruptcy.
    Land was purchased 4 yrs ago and I started to build a villa. I had to stop building after I lost my job 2 yrs ago. The house is not completed and uninhabitable at the present. It is just framed out. I had to declare bankruptcy and do not know if this house needs to be included in the bk

    In one word - yes. If not a lot of people would move/transfer assets out of the Country in order to shield them.
