Winter here isn't too bad -30c is usually the coldest we get. Which is a nice change from when I lived further North and an average winter day was -50c. The main difference is where I am now, we get 4ft of snow on an average snow fall, makes for a loooong winter. Up North, much colder but not as much snow.

-30C converts to -22F. That's the coldest I've ever felt and I thought I'd never live through it. Okay, so I'm exaggerating a little, but not much.

Cat, we are very dry here. When I go to S. California now, it feels so humid to me and I don't care for it. When I lived there for 8 years, I didn't even notice it.

I have seen some of those ice storms in North Carolina and they are dangerous however very beautiful.

Sometimes it rains here. Sometimes it's cloudy. That about covers most weather in Enlgand. Oh and it's often windy. Saw the sun one day in the 'summer' - distant memory.

It's been a crappy few days here, cool, not 4c, but 10c today, and that was cold enough, especially with the rain. The kids have been bundling up for school.

I always find it amusing how we Canadians adjust to the weather. In spring, when it's finally a plus day, 10 degrees is shorts and t-shirt weather. In fall, 10 degrees means bringing out the coats, socks, and bundling up.

I'm not looking forward to the minuses though. I also am not in any hurry to see snow.
You can't fool us Alty, we all know you love snow ;)

Another rainy day here. Which is kind of nice to be able to get so much house work done inside the house with out feeling guilty about not having E out side.

I have barely seen what questions have been on the topics I'm subscribed to because of the Quran thread, the puzzles and the 'Question for catholics' thread. Now that things are getting more 'calm', I just checked my topics. Phew!

Well, you have to have your priorities straight. I figure I'll start work once we finish Adam's puzzle.

Yes, I had those threads in priority :o

They go so fast, hence their priority, while the others, the OP too often just come, ask and leave the next minute. :(

Well, it looks like Adam is offline. I think he still has a couple of hours of work ahead of him so maybe he'll come back. I think I'll log off and check back later.

It could be interesting to see how much cleaning you need to do after she gets through. :D

90s cartoon kids movie about the circus [ 4 Answers ]

Okay, so the movie that I cannot figure out was made in the 90s, I think, because I was a 90s kid. I remember watching it in daycare. But anyway... the movie took place near a carnival or circus and it had a boy in it too. I don't remember the plot or anything. Wow, that shows how much of the 90s I...
