    ITIN for my wife and son
    Hi.. Me and my family have been here since 1 yr and I want to go for a ITIN number for them. Can I apply for them now (Sept 2010) after filling the W-7 form and attaching the notarized copy of passports/visa?

Attach a valid federal income tax return, unless you qualify for an exception, and include your original, notarized, or certified proof of identity and foreign status documents.
    Send the Form W-7 and proof of identity and foreign status documents to:

    Austin Service Center
    ITIN Operation
    P.O. Box 149342
    Austin, TX 78714-9342
    If your spouse and kids qualify, they will receive'e, within six weeks from the iRS.
