    I'm 39wks pregnant and having yellow vaginal leakage? Aminotic fluid or urine?
    I've also been having cramps all day long and my contractions are not consistent. This fluid just comes out. At first it was pink now its yellow. I'm afraid its aminotic fluid.. there really no smell and my bowels are loose

    If it is pretty much a continuous leak, or fairly frequent, you should have it checked. There can be more discharge towards the end of pregnancy, but always wise to let your doctor or midwife determine whether it is amniotic fluid.
    Amniotic fluid shouldn't have much of a smell and the loose bowels, along with the irregular but continuous contractions can be signs that things are about to get underway before long.

    At 39 weeks you are considered full term. This very well could be the beginning of labor or possibly an infection. The only way you would know for sure would be to visit your L&D department or your doctor.

    Once the bag of waters has broken you have about 24 hours to deliver your baby before there is a risk of infection. Please go to your L&D department to find out exactly what is causing this.
