I have had my period since I was 11 years old and only twice besides now have I ever missed a period. The first time I was 15 and under tons of stress. And the second time was when I was pregnant with my son. Unfortunately I was really dumb on August 13th and 14th due to a lot of family issues and problems and slept with my ex boyfriend twice without a condom in which neither time either of us came and it was for a very short time both times due to different reasons. It makes me extremely nervous and scared as my last period was on July 30th so I know I'm late. Its at least a week almost two and two days ago I got very very little blood so I got excited I have even been having cramps off and on but not too much. I haven't been eating very much lately because I've been extremely stressed because of fighting with my sons dad. I've never had unprotected sex and my mom (being the horrible woman she is) has said oh you probably got an std you bimbo. I'm extremely nervous I took at pregnancy test and it came up 100 % negative no chance of positive. And I haven't had any signs of an std no itching nothing abnormal at all any ideas on what's going on? (sorry its so long)

It could be the stress causing the late period again. Family problems have a way of creating enormous amounts of stress. And while hpt are pretty accurate, it might still just be too early for accurate results. If you still don't have your period within the next couple weeks, I'd try another, just to make sure. And, while you're mother didn't put it very nicely, she does have a good point. Lack of protection increases your chances of std's. You can never be too safe, better to call your dr and make sure everything is OK. Maybe they can also do a pregnancy test too.

Thanks for the answer luckily two days ago I finally started and its been a very normal period since its started so I'm assuming it was stress on Thursday I am going to the doctor and getting a pap and some tests ran before I'm placed on birth control.
