    Install of DI-524 error mssg: Set up doesn't detect supported router. What do I do?
    PC is not one original one router was set up on a long time ago. Set up goes OK until final step. Error mssg suggests I download firmware upgrade.

    I've never needed to install software to get a router hooked up. Best to reset the router to factory settings, hook it up then access the configuration page as per the manual.
