    Dishwasher water level?
Frigidaire Dishwasher FDB740RC. Not cleaning dishes well. Just in the past couple weeks. When the dishwasher fills with water, how full should it get? When mine fills, it definitely doesn't go up to the element, and just barely makes it to the float switch (not enough to trigger it), makes it to just below the base of it, doesn't come up the side of it at all. Is this normal, or should there be more water. The Water valve has been replaced already about 4 months ago, as it was leaking. Any info/suggestions would be appreciated. Also notice (not sure if it matters), Under the sink it's plastic tubing, and then connects to a copper tube that goes to the dishwasher, would it make any difference if I replaced that with a steel braided? Should it matter?

Does your dishwasher have a food grinder? Sometimes these clogg or completely fail and it will really affect the washability.
