According to THE HOLY SCRIPTURES you are.But don't worry: (1) See John 6:44 unless GOD gives you HIS GRACE YOU CAN'T GO TO JESUS. HIS GRACE,which is HIS DRAWING/SELECTING YOU TO JESUS IS NOT SOMETHING YOU CAN EARN BUT ONLY CAN ACCEPT AS A GIFT FROM THE FATHER . So you will have a lot of company if you believe THE HOLY SCRIPTURE which is GOD'S WORD AS INTERPETED BY MAN. I believe IT IS GOD'S WORD but I have a lot of doubt in man.s interpation

Hi Fred. Long time. Sorry, I hadn't seen your question.

In fact, everyone of those categories of the Blasphemy can be boiled down to calling the Holy Spirit something it is not:

    1. Despairing of the Holy Spirit is believing that the Holy Spirit either can't or won't forgive.
    2. Presumption of salvation is believing that one doesn't need the grace of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, it is believing that the Holy Spirit is impotent.
    3. Impugning the Truth is believing that one knows more than the Holy Spirit.
    4. Spiritual envy is similar, believing that one can decide what is best for himself and his fellow man. Or that one deserves is better than his fellow man. Essentially saying that the Holy Spirit is wrong.
    5. Obstinacy is similar except that the one who is spiritually obstinate won't accept the teaching of the Holy Spirit.
    6. Final Impenitence is simply not caring to repent before God. Therefore believing that the Holy Spirit is not important or does not exist.

That's how I understand it. Sincerely,

Here is some research from around the internet:

Others draw a more distressing conclusion. They believe that a single slip of the tongue, an impious remark or evil comment against the Holy Spirit can eternally separate a Christian from the redemptive power of Jesus' blood.
    1) This view doesn't really line up with 1 John 1:9 and a lot of other Bible verses about God.
    2) Why would God have things this way?
    3) The other reasons investigated and to be investigated are much more reasonable then this narrow-minded view.

"Look at what the Pharisees accused Jesus of: "By the prince of demons, he drives out demons."
They have confuse the work of God with the work of the devil. Their hearts are so hardened that they see good as evil and evil as good.
This is what Jesus calls the unforgiveable sin. Anything else can be forgiven, but there comes a time in the lives of some where there hearts are too hardened to ever change. They see everything upside down. They glorify Satan, not God.
A lot of Christians have worried about this needlessly over the years. It is not something that a child of God should worry about in themselves. No one who loves Jesus can commit this sin. Nor is it something that someone can do without thinking, as many other sins are.
It is a deliberate course of action, a malicious turning against God and everything to do with Him, so that turning back becomes impossible.

One thing about blasphemy is that the Bible never really specifies what it is.
Do the versions agree with the context?
The other external Bible verses (Hebrews 4:6-8,John 3:16 {in a reverse view}, and see key external verses in this color and font above)

Blasphemy Against The Holy Spirit: The reason that this is the “unpardonable sin” is because it is God's Holy Spirit that draws us to Jesus (compare John 6:44 & John 12:32). In the first verse Jesus says the Father would do the drawing, in the 2nd He says He (Jesus) would do the drawing. Contradiction? No God is a Triune Deity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit so when one acts, all are acting! Actually it is the Holy Spirit that draws us to Christ (John 16:13-14). So when the Holy Spirit is working on us, if we say to ourselves that it is Satan and reject His message (of Jesus' death as the only provision for our sins), then we are in fact rejecting God's plan of salvation!

Here is some research on the question from around the internet and some that I made. They have Bible verses and logical explainations in a lot of them.

"The unforgivable sin of speaking against the Holy Spirit has been interpreted in various ways, but the true meaning cannot contradict other Scripture. It is unequivocally clear that the one unforgivable sin is permanently rejecting Christ (John 3:18; 3:36). Thus, speaking against the Holy Spirit is equivalent to rejecting Christ with such finality that no future repentance is possible. 'My spirit shall not always strive with man,' God said long ago (Genesis 6:3).

Define against: in opposition to; contrary to; adverse or hostile to

The pharisees were obviously very contrary to what Jesus was saying, so that means those who commit the sin should probably be too.

Thus the sin is unpardonable, the sinner having severed any connection with God.

The very fact that you are troubled enough to post here looking for hope is proof that God has not turned His back on you, and apparently, you have not turned your back on Him.

    Hope that this helps you.
I have a question for you; were these pharisees cut off as a result of attributing Jesus' miracles to Satan, or were they cut off before? (I'd probably say before because of Matthew 12:14 but just for another opinion.)

Call on the NAME of JESUS HE KNOWS and can see, and feel your heart.Leave it with HIM.
Build your Faith in love. The Gift of Jesus is HIMSELF.But you have to ask forgiveness for sins.

Just the very fact that you are concerned about it, and show worry, and that you want forgiveness is a SURE SIGN you HAVE NOT committed blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. People who do it don't care and they have no remorse and they DO NOT want forgiveness!!
