    Renewing IP address
    I can not get my computer to connect wirelessly to my router signal. Every other device in my home can do so just fine. When I try to get my computer connected I usually get a message saying that it can not renew the IP address. I have repeatedly tried to solve this problem by manually releasing and renewing the IP address through the command prompt, but this does not solve the problem. What else can I try?

    Make sure your network isn't configured with a static IP.
    Configure TCP/IP to use DHCP and a Static IP Address at the Same Time

    Yup, tried that too, but thanks for the suggestion. Any other ideas perhaps?

    Does your computer see your network as an available wireless network?
