You do what you would do if YOU were exposed to fleas and then flea spray and were sick - you would go to a Doctor so you take her to a Vet.

    It's very simple.

Just for future reference if you ever have a cat or dog with fleas go to the vet and ask for capstar it is a pill that works for 24 hours to kill every flea on the animal. Give the capstar pill and put frontline on the animal at the same time. The capstar will kill the fleas and the frontline will prevent them from coming back for a week. This is a safe way to get all fleas off your pet. And make sure you put the frontline at the base of the neck so the animal can't lick it and get sick.

If your kitten is acting sick or even just not acting like she normally does she needs to go to the vet asap. Make sure to tell them exactly what was used on the kitten and in the house.

That was a typo frontline prevents them from coming back for a month, not a week.

As judy and owl said, take the kitty to the vet and tell them what was used. Pesticide sprays can linger on surfaces, and she may have ingested it by licking something. There are much more pet-friendly ways to treat a house. If the problem happens again, research diatomaceous earth for getting rid of fleas.

Is my kitten ill? [ 3 Answers ]

I'm a little concerned about my 8 week old tabby kitten. We only got her today and she has already passed tow diarrohea stool, the last of which I noticed there was a slight sign of blood loss. Not a lot, but enough to colour a few of the cat litter stones. She's lively and playful, hasn't yet...
