    My 9-year old has hot flashes
    My 9-year old daughter is experiencing several hot flashes a day. She is year's from starting her mentraul cycle. She is very petite for her age. Any suggestions of what these hot flashes could mean?

    While this may be normal... There may also be a problem with the pituitary gland. You may want to see a doctor.

    My daughter suffered with severe hot flashes from the age of 9 until she was 14. She saw 8 different specialist and had at least 30 different blood tests that all came back normal. We saw a naturopath who listened to her symptoms and suggested that she remove all gluten from her diet and her hot flashes stopped completely within one week. After 3 weeks her acne also cleared completely.
