    How do you adjust the clutch on an 8hp lawnboy riding mower
    Once engaged in a forward gear you cannot shift to another gear and the mower will not come to a complete stop.

I have a lawnboy riding mower and the back tire is flat. It has retainer clip that I removed. The tire still doesn't want to come off. What else do I need to do to remove it.

How to adjust governor on older 8HP Briggs and Stratton mower motor [ 1 Answers ]

I had to dismantle two engines to make one. Have forgotten how to adjust governor. I have fully closed buttefly in carby, and turned governor actuating lever fully anti-clockwise before re-tightening clamp on governor arm. Is this right or wrong?
