Worked for a JCL Homecare that hires workers to clean houses, run errands, take care of patient's hyigeiene. I was currently taking care of 2 patients and was told that if I referred this new client that my boss would give me a $10.00 raise (which that was told to me back in February), well I helped get this client added to my case load in July which took 8 months for my boss to process her through so I could take care of the new client. I did drop one of the patients I had been taking care of so I could take care of the two patients in the same household. Which my boss okayed to do that.. so I had left several messages on my bosses voice mail regarding the raise that was promised to me, she NEVER returned my calls. The main client even told her that I deserved a raise, and my bosses response was that I needed to speak with her about it.. So I called her on Aug. 12 and requested for that raise that was promised. She in turn so that when the time came, that she would consider it, then I reminded her of the promise that she made me back in February. She then tried to say that Iwas putting words in her mouth. So that created an argument that I tried to tell her that we did have that conversation.. But I have no proof, I tried to get that raise down in writing back in February, she just ignored it. What could I do... well, after arguing with her for a while I just hung up the phone because I seen I was getting no where. So an hour or so later she calls my cell phone while I'm working at the clients house and told me that she had spoken with the client (which the client was right next to me and our phones never wrang) so there was the first lie she was caught in. So I turned on the speaker phone on my cell and she proceeded to tell me that it was my last day and that she informed my client.. My client spoke up and said that it would be her's and her daughters last day as well.. Then my boss had the nerve to ask the client if she wanted someone else to come in my place and the clients response was hell no, you must be deaf I said it would be mine and my daughters last day.. that was the end of the conversation.. Keep in mind, that she has told other employees that they would be paid a certain amount, and didn't live up to what she quoted, so I was not the only one.

So, neall946, take on private clients plus the two you were working with when your boss called. Unless you signed an agreement not to pursue their clients should you leave their service for whatever reason, you can do that, plus you get your raise plus a bonus if you know how much she was charging the clients for your services.
