I took probation on the case due to not knowing better and I want to know if they just made up the whole part about having witnesses saying I was there . They told me to tell on my boyfriend at the time or take probation . I took probation it was all a set up due to a bad divorce from my husband. It was The State of Texas vs. Debbie L Mahoney no.96-263-C 54th district court of McLennan County Texas 6-26-1996 They never showed me anything just said tell on him or take the fall . My attorny took a vacation that day and the next day his assistant shows up and tells me sign this and then tells m e I now have 5 years probation. I know he wasn't sufficient counsel . Im done with it all now just want to know who al was involved if anyone.

Find the website of the court in that area... look up the docket number... request copies which are public record. You will have to pay for those copies as time and materials are not free.

If you are local you can walk in and make the same request.

The witness's statements or affidavits may not be available online in the docket. You will have to go in person, request the file be taken out of the archives, and then you can have access to what is in the official court record. Being that the case is that old it may take a week or more to retrieve the actual paper file from the court's archived files.

The witnesses statements may not be included in the official court file but should be if this was part of your plea agreement. The statements may be in the DA's file which is not available to the general public.

The police lie all the time about witnesses and evidence
Of course you had legal counsel, you were told of the deal, had the choice to accept it and did.

You could have always testified against the other person.

This threat is normal for trying to force a witness to testify,

You made a bad deal and you are struck with it now.
Most likely no other witneses, but then it could be any of your friends that knew . Most people who break the law find it is always the people close them them that end up testifying when they are threatened with arrest if they don't
