    Why my truck cuts off
    I have a 92 ext. cab chevy 4 wheel drive 350 engine while driving down the road truck will just die, but it actually never shuts off goes to idle no throttle response put in neutral hold gas to half throttle full throttle it suddenly pic rpm back up then does fine. Also will shut off sometimes and crank up and run fine till it decides to do it again. Put a coil on it first not even 10 seconds after I did that it shut off again got went through that for 2 or 3 weeks then it started to shut off when I came home on my bumpy driveway shake truck side to side shuts off. OK put new delphi fule pump fuel filter strainer drove down road did it again this time only on turning hard left turns. OK got home then done it twice more in yard then no start at all I thought good now I can fix it. New cap, rotor button, throttle position sensor, ignition module, and still dead tested further bad coil, new coil of diff. brand cranked up test drive OK, went to work this morn. Did great no problems till almost home this evening then bam shuts down to idle throw in netral revs up put back in drive fine yurn in driveway shuts off cranks up turn into parking hole shuts off will start every time. Then I called the guy I purchased it from. He said it was blowing the fuse for the injectors OK 30 amp fuse there now where I think it was supposed to be a 10.

    The PCM may be failing. Before replacing it, clean the main PCM ground. You've done a lot of good things to that truck.

    Have you checked for codes?

    Never install larger fuses than what's called for--it's just asking for trouble.

    Hopefully, the new Ignition Control Module was brand new. They cause many problems, similar to your's, when they start to fail.
