    Who an identify a signature on a painting of rabbis in a study
    Can some one identify whom the artist is? But first, tell me how to upload the images...

    Markis, it appears from your photos that this has been retouched. Notice the solid blacks in the hats and the strong colors of the book spines. Could this be a print that someone tried to "freshen up". It's a nice picture, but if there are areas that look retouched at a later time and if it is painted on canvas or a wood panel you might consider having someone (a restorer) clean and remove the later touches. I hope this helps you. I can't tell you the artist's name but if it is an original painting, not a reproduction, you may want to target an appraiser. Jay
