I am trying to find a R/F slide switch for a S.M.C. Ceiling Fan, Model U42S. This is the switch which controls the direction the fan is going Forward or Backward.
I am troubleshooting a ceiling fan that will stop for no apparent reason. It has a "Homestead Products" wall control (two wire) with two knobs. One is a dimmer for the lights. The other is speed control for the fan. The speed control will also reverse the fan direction if you turn it all of the way...
