    How do I claim my deceased mother's 401k?
    My mother left me and my siblings beneficiaries of her 401k plan through her job. She was married at the time, but her husband was incarcerated prior to her death. Did he lose all rights to the 401k because he's a felon?

    If your mother was legally married, then her spouse has rights to the 401(k) unless he specifically signed those rights away.
